Facilities Maintenance
Facilities Maintenance Division is comprised of three components, Maintenance, Lock & Security, and Janitorial Services. The divisions primary function is to maintain all county owned facilities. Maintenance encompasses preventative maintenance of equipment, repairs and replacement of equipment such as heating and air conditioning units, boilers and domestic hot water systems, plumbing, electrical, wastewater treatment, and minor roof repairs. Lock and Security Services handle mechanical locks, keys, master key systems, door hardware, and electronic security. The Janitorial section provides facility cleaning, and manages contracted janitorial services.
Stanislaus County building inventory includes approximately 140 buildings totaling over 2.5 million square feet of leased and owned space. Our building inventory includes facilities constructed from 1938 to present date.
