Geer Road and Santa Fe Avenue Intersection Improvement Project

About the Project

Located in Hughson near the core of Stanislaus County, the Geer Road and Santa Fe Avenue Intersection Improvement Project will widen roadways for turn lanes, pave and reconstruct roadways, upgrade the BNSF railroad tracks, install traffic signals at the intersection, improve irrigation systems and install new traffic signs, striping, and street lighting.

During construction, Geer Road and Santa Fe Avenue will remain open with occasional lane closures and detours. Businesses, residents, and the traveling public may experience traffic delays, lane closures, detours, and noise. Construction is anticipated to continue through the end of November.
